A warm welcome to Wenlock CE Academy, and we are so happy you are considering joining our school community. Please take the time to look around our website; however, the best way to get to know if we are the right school for you is to come for a visit. Please read below for further information on the admissions process for joining our school.

Wenlock is a 3-form entry school with children beginning their school life here in Year 3 (7 years old). They will stay with us until the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6) at the age of 11. Each year group can take up to 90 children, with 30 children in each class.

As the Admissions Authority for Wenlock CE Academy, the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust would like to draw your attention to the consultation on admission arrangements for 2027 / 2028.

The proposed changes are to include ‘children of staff’ as a priority criteria for admissions to Wenlock CE Academy, Beaconsfield, Luton. LU2 0RW. In line with the guidance from the Admissions Code 2021 1.46, the six-week consultation period will run from Friday 12th December to Monday 26th January 2026.
